These icons were created by Gwenevere Singley for the "Worklore" mini-site, a special feature on the Brooklyn Public Library website built around an exhibit of the same name. The site presented the tales of Brooklyn workers past and present, and was designed to project a historical mood, with more than a hint of art deco and old labor posters.
