The "Biz-Wiz" was designed to act as a helpful guide in a CD-ROM series designed by Vanguard Media, Inc., for Macmillan Digital USA. The CD-ROM series, featuring "The Idiot's Guide Marketing Materials Maker", "The Idiot's Guide Business Cards and Stationery Maker", and "The Idiot's Guide Business Forms Maker", gave small businesses the power to produce professional-looking business materials on their own. In addition to a suite of templates and desktop-publishing tools, each CD-ROM featured a plethora of business and design tips. The Biz-Wiz was originally proposed to deliver those tips - shown here are the designs developed by Gwenevere Singley for the Biz-Wiz character.
