Flash Animation
For over the past eight years, Gwen Singley has created numerous animations for the "Kinetic City Electro-Epic", a Flash-based educational website produced by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Below are just a few samples of the animation created for this varied and entertaining site! (Click on the icons to play the samples.)
A prehistoric basilosaur has reappeared in modern seas - and it seems to have developed a taste for boats! Creatures of the rainforest are morphing into mysterious sausages! Watch as a giant anaconda becomes a weenie with legs!
Gravity has vanished in one tiny spot. It hasn't taken long for entrepreneur Ross Grrow to turn this discovery into a beachside attraction! Famed body onload="rollovers();"builder Arnold Rutabegga has mysteriously lost his strength - now he can barely lift a balloon!
A sampling of the many strains of the evil "Deep Delete" virus that is attacking basic scientific principles - all of them deadly! An X-ray view of the famous Supertrain, in which the teen team known as the Super Crew rushes to rescue science fact from science fiction!
A sampling of the many faces of ALEC, the know-it-all computer and virtual host of the Kinetic City Electro Epic. A sampling of the evil mannerisms of Count Sonos, purveyor of Doom and destroyer of fact.
Animation for CD-ROMs
Below are a few samples from among the many animations created by Gwen Singley for the CD-ROM "Webster's New World Word Wizard", a children's title produced by Macmillan Digital USA, chock full of games devoted to words and reading skills. (Click on the icons to play the samples; these may take time to load, as they were created for CDROM rather than the web.)

Aliens have landed - and they speak in phonetic spelling! If you can translate their speech, they may give you a gift! This alien is not especially satisfied with the translation it's been given...
